Deb Beck

“I am constantly inspired by practices that are both well considered and innovative. While these acts can take place in array of mediums, I believe that the very nature of these attributes will always lead to positive outcomes and continual improvement.”

Architectural Technician

Dip. Architectural Technology - Tighes Hill, TAFE

Deb relishes the complexity and challenges architecture offers. She employs her exceptional skills in Architectural modeling, Archicad, BIM (Building Information Modelling) systems, and her advanced knowledge of Building Codes, construction and design industry benchmarks and standards to flesh out concepts and sketches into fully developed, detailed architecture to deliver positive outcomes and achieve continual improvement. Deb has worked locally for over 12 years within architecture, engineering and façade building; predominantly on commercial projects Australia-wide in the fields of infrastructure and education.

Deb enjoys working at SHAC sharing the same values of a well-considered approach to projects and clients. She is thrilled to be working in an integrated and diligent team environment striving to achieve excellence and deliver adaptable, robust architecture. Deb personifies the SHAC ethos that to satisfy the client is always a great experience, but to exceed a client’s expectation is even more satisfying.

Always looking to improve her skills, Deb is currently studying Construction Management at University of Newcastle, while still enjoying café hopping, visits to the farmers market, sketching, live music and snowboarding trips to Japan.
