Certificate in Architectural Drafting
30 years experience in high end and commercial drafting and 3D modelling

Raoul is a committed life-long learner, starting his architectural career with mechanical pencils and a drawing board, transitioning to CAD 20 years ago, and now working in BIM. Raoul’s documentation style is all about information efficiency, precision and clarity. Raoul has drawn and modelled buildings of all typologies for firms in Sydney and the NSW North Coast. The depth of knowledge and experience he draws on enables him to communicate, clearly and efficiently to everyone involved in a project how something can be built.

Raoul says of himself, “Drafting is a passion. I love the challenge each project brings and enjoy solving the problems encountered along the way to create something real from the vision of an architect. I love the detail and the technology involved in bringing a building into being.

I am proud of most buildings that I have worked on, especially commercial buildings in Wingham, Port Macquarie, North Ryde. I particularly enjoyed the challenges of modelling shop drawings in 3d for Melbourne School of Architecture mezzanine space which was constructed using a mixture of pipe stainless steel formed and bent into complex shapes.”

“Everyone is dedicated and supportive of each other and the skills each person brings complement each other to allow us to create new, attractive, functional spaces.”
