Interior Design Manager
B. Science (Architecture) - University of Newcastle
Rebecca’s fascination with colour, pattern and art began at a young age, flourished into a love for all colour and texture and for thoughtfully designed spaces, and she has subsequently become an accomplished and sought after Interior Designer. Her design career began in 2000 while studying a Bachelor of Science (Architecture), and since then she has been building an impressive bespoke interiors portfolio encompassing offices, hotels, clubs, aged care and schools, as well as multi residential apartment projects and luxury homes.
Rebecca prides herself on being empathetic to her client’s needs throughout their design journey, taking inspiration from their vision to deliver unique quality interiors that fulfil their aspirations and brings happiness into their lives. She balances her love of fine aesthetics with pragmatism, taking great pride in delivering customised fit for purpose design solutions with high quality documentation from concept to completion that always have the client’s vision and budget in mind. Her favourite personal project is a local busy hotel design that evokes Newcastle’s open spaces, summer light and ocean breezes by exposing its interiors to sunlight and streetscape, and by adding natural sandstone and a water feature.
Joining the SHAC collaboration has allowed Rebecca to feed into and bounce ideas off a passionate professional team. The great thing about SHAC is that a solution is only a brainstorm away! Rebecca maintains strong relationships with clients often gets new projects from Word of Mouth or by repeat business.
To escape her interior world, Rebecca ventures out to take her dog for a walk, socialises with friends, or cruises through the Hunter’s vineyards on the back of her husband’s BMW R nineT.
