Sophie Robinson

“I’m interested in the way architecture can solve problems and create better lives for those most in need.”

Architectural Assistant

B. Design (Architecture) - University of Newcastle

Sophie’s relationship with SHAC began 5 years ago as a year 10 work experience student. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) she has rejoined the team to hone her skills under the guidance of our senior architects. After a trip to Nepal with Newcastle Uni and Health Habitat to help locals rebuild their communities following the devastating 2015 earthquake, Sophie realised the positive contribution architecture can have on those in most need. Sophie has thrown herself into a wide range of architectural projects during her time at SHAC, developing her architectural and problem solving skills to contribute in creating a better built environment for the community.

Sophie’s interests outside SHAC include drawing, lomography and frequenting gigs, concerts and festivals.
