“I enjoy the process and problem solving of architecture - turning ideas into sketches, into drawings, into built form.”

B. Architecture (Hons. II) - University of Newcastle
Registered Architect - NSW Board of Architects No 8800

Nick’s extensive experience in all aspects of architecture has allowed him to be involved in projects from conception right through to construction. Nick has a broad range of experience working on various projects both within Australia and the UK. These projects range in size and complexity from small scale boutique residences around Newcastle through to large scale mixed use developments in central London. Nick was responsible for design, documentation and contract administration for a Commercial Club project in Laurieton in northern NSW, as well as the redevelopment of Albury Airport, and extensive Industrial works for Ausgrid including their entire Ourimbah Depot.

As Director, Nick also has several roles in the day to day operation of the practice including specification management and general office and staff organisation. Nick’s favourite project experience includes the consolidation of the Clarence Valley Council buildings onto one large works site and seeing the positive client and community feedback. Away from SHAC Nick enjoys the analytical nuances of cricket and golf.
