The site on Darby St, once contained two derelict structures. The originally Sydney designed DA, was bought by Foteff Build who engaged SHAC to design develop and document the project.

The final developed scheme consists of 8 well configured modern apartments each with carparking, private outdoor terraces or courtyards, excellent passive solar design, spacious yet extremely efficient open planning, luxuriously appointed bathrooms and ensuites, fully automated security systems, all presented in a sharp, vibrant and fresh architectural style, which has set a new standard of design in the Hunter.

The existing two-storey historic terrace building has become one luxury apartment facing Darby St. Adjacent to this is a new complimentary, modern three-storey apartment with a striking glazed ‘Lantern’, which wraps around the staircase. The construction includes rendered masonry, concrete floors, split-face Boral blocks, detailed panels of corrugated metal cladding, brightly painted fibre cement cladding and symmonite metallic finish panels.
