The Lambloch Estate expansion project capitalises on the natural beauty of the site to create a unique function centre

Lambloch Estate

The Lambloch Estate function centre and restaurant uses repetitive portal frames on the south to shield the existing, dated structure and tie it into the new building and its landscape. The prominent entry structure provides a centralised circulation zone that captures potential visitors passing along Broke Road and funnels them into the building allowing them to experience the expansive views and natural beauty of the site.

A smaller, discrete chapel has been established lower down the hill creating a private and secluded venue for weddings. The external materials hint at the agricultural nature of the site, however its fine details open up to reveal a warm, rich palette of materials internally that open to reveal and focus on the natural beauty of the site. The careful orientation of the building and the use of natural light ensure the wedding couple are the focus of any service and will help attract patrons to the estate.
