Hayden Pritchard
“Through architecture we craft the world we get to inhabit, shaping how people experience spatial reality. For me, this responsibility is an honour and I am dedicated to being of service.”

M. Project Management - University of Newcastle
M. Architecture - University of Newcastle
B. Design (Architecture) - University of Newcastle
Hayden joined SHAC after completing his Project Management degree in 2022. Soft spoken, erudite and articulate, his attention to detail and diligence to his craft results in high quality and intelligently considered design and documentation. He has worked on several major regional education projects with SHAC, following them through from Concept through to Construction.
Hayden says: The motivation for what I do comes from a deep sense of curiosity that has created a need to understand the physical reality we live in and how it is shaped. The rational and reasoned approach to science then sparks a need for balance through creativity and expression. I find Architecture to be at the intersection of these counterparts and allows me to practice in both realms and come closer to understanding that the concrete and the abstract are not mutually exclusive but in fact inextricable.
Hayden’s project exposure includes Defence (Williamtown NACF); Healthcare (Eurobodalla, Shoalhaven and Royal Brisbane Hospitals), Infrastructure (Sydney Wharf and Ferry upgrades); Most recently, Hayden has assisted SHAC with Education projects (Wee Waa High School; All Saints College, Maitland) and MultiResidential (Kressville Seniors Village).
